Secondary School 2000 - 2005

In September 2000 Jack started secondary school in Salibury, at Bishop Wordsworth's Grammar school. He immediately made an impact on his peers, with his ability to make everyone laugh and his no-holds-barred humour saw him happily thrive in his new surroundings and make himself popular with the students, although not neccessarily with the staff! Jack was the type of student who didn't have to try hard to excel at school, and despite his commitment to enjoying life and making each moment as hilarious as possible, unlike some it certainly had no effect on his academic ability and potential. Jack struck up an immediate bond with Callum Male, a classmate who enjoyed to poke fun at the world around him as much as Jack and together the next 5 years in a begrudging school became a lot more fun as they took to joking about everything available to them, including the teaching staff! In Jack's third year he formed a band with Callum, and fellow friend Matt Marsh, playing the bass guitar. All new to the game of making music, they practised hard at their new found instruments and had a cracking time playing gigs across the Salisbury area with their energetic punk rock sounds. Jack's love for football also flourished, an avid fan of Liverpool FC and a keen player himself, he played regularly for Shaftesbury's junior team in which he regularly referred to himself as one of the better players! Jack went on to get fantastic GCSE results, particularly doing well in languages, and took the decision to further his educuation in Bishop's sixth form.
